Top Business Apps - by hausofhobo
Do you have any apps, or business tools, you use in your business you can't live without? I ran across this blog post about some @hausofhobo uses. I've only heard of a few of them and currently only use three. I am interested to look further into some of them. I am constantly hearing of new apps, programs and services via podcasts that business owners use and it can be so overwhelming thinking I should be using them too. But then I take a step back and remember I only have so much time in the day and most of that time is devoted to the raising and care of my family and home.... so I just take a breath and what do you know, the next week I've forgotten about all those new things I wanted to try. Have you heard of any of these? Below is the blog post for your convenience with my intermediated comments, click here to be taken to the actual blog post.

So nowadays, a lot of businesses owners run their business from their phone! We live in the modern world where we are lucky to have that connection with the rest of the world at our fingertips.
Here are my must have apps:
1. Rhonna
Rhonna is an app that you can make graphics on. You can add text, graphics, colors, backgrounds etc to your own photo or make your own design! It is great to use to post about sales, promotions, or cute designs to post to enhance your feed!
2. RhonnaCollage
This is just an addition to Rhonna where you can select from a wider selection of backgrounds and different graphics. They go hand in hand, but great to have!
3. VSCO
My all time favorite editing app. This app has amazing photo editing options with a huge selection of presets for your graphics. The presets cost but are worth it. My favorite presets are 06, C1-C3 and E1-E6. I use those on EVERYTHING!
^^I use Aviary to edit photos if needed, although most my photos are going straight through Instagram where I can do all the basic editing I need.
4. Facetune
Facetune is a great app for editing photos of people and products. You can smooth the surface, brighten the image and enhance the color. This isn't just to make your face look pretty, this is a great app to use on everything.
5. layout
This is a great app if you want to make a collage of multiple photos you have. Just a simple app, but totally necessary.
^^I do use this app, but more for personal accounts. It pairs well with Instagram.
6. Squareready
This app lets your downsize your image to fit into the square you post on instagram. If you're super OCD like me, any many others, you don't want your image getting cut off, so this fixes that! adds a white boarder and keeps the image smaller.
^^This is no longer an issue as you can use full photos on Instagram now. Also, I know most iphones, if not all, in the camera settings now have a "square" picture feature that makes it so your photo is Insta-ready to post (see what I did there?)
7. Boomerang
This is a fun little app that lets you snap a quick video to post on instagram.
^^I do love to use Boomerang to change things up a bit on my social feeds and moment is always good to catch a readers attention!
8. Hootsuite
Hootsuite lets you plan out your social media posts and schedule them to post for you. The only app it won't post for is Instagram, which is kind of a bummer and my most used app so i don't use this app as much, but I still think it's a beneficial app.
9. Mailchimp
Mailchimp is an app used for your email subscribers. You can check your subscriber list, the open rate, click rate and more. For those who are focused on growing their email subscriber list, this is a must have!
^^I do use Mailchimp for my newsletters which I send out at least once a month. Right now I cannot justify paying for a mail service so the basic free Mailchimp accounts works great for now!
10. MC Snap
Also used for the email subscribers, MC Snap sends out newsletters! Super simple to do and you can still include links, images and a header. That's it!
These are all apps I use daily when needing to create graphics, edit photos and post to social media. There any many other apps that can help you with budgeting, billing, marketing etc, but these are my daily go to's!
Thanks for stopping by!

SO, What do you think? Do you use any of these? Which tools DO you use to make your business life EASIER?
